I want to say a big Thank You to the folks who have made Carter's Chocolates such
fun, and who have helped to get us on our way to having a successful business.
The warmth of our reception in Port Orchard, the internet response, all the
positive feedback from returning customers, the Yelp reviewers, all the folks that
saw us at all of our festivals and markets, has all been greatly appreciated.
Another summer of Farmer's Markets is about to begin, and we'll be bringing our
homemade ice cream there, and expanding the menu at our new larger space in
Towne Square. We have been selling it for 12.oo a quart, now we'll have PLA
(biodegradable) plastic quart tubs for take home. Call ahead, if you would like a
quart brought to the market for you, or stop up at the store where we can fill a
container for you!
Some of the most popular flavors have been: coconut with macadamia nuts and
chocolate chips, peanut butter chocolate chip, mint chocolate chip, turtle, and
Blackberry with white chocolate chips. John's newest smash hit is the Orange ice
cream with chunks of dark chocolate.
And our chocolates are still available in downtown Seattle, at the Chocolate Box,
108 Pine St, just around the corner from Pike Place Market, on the dessert menu at
the Pike Pub, Westlake Whole Foods, and now at West Seattle Thriftway and
closer to home at Fresh Local in Bremerton, and looking forward to a few new
venues from Gig Harbor to Seattle this upcoming chocolate season.
Thank you everyone, and we look forward to a long, happy time making smiles in
Towne Square and beyond.
